| Gutted for Mossop but it will be a massive opportunity for Farrell and he can handle it IMO. Then we will have him and Hansen back come the business end of the season

Do you think Leeds will finish in the top 2?'"
Before last year no team had won the GF 3 times on the trot, before 2008 no team had won the WCC and grand final in the same season. So the current leeds team have a precident for making history, so I wouldn't be too concerned about that.
To answer your question I think leeds will finish 4th. In which case they'll need to win 2 games to make it to old trafford, 1 away from home. Not an impossible task.

With home advantage Wigan Wire or Saints would put Leeds to the sword in a play off semi

I agree with the original post. One thing I couldn't have stood today was losing to much poorer opposition. Your team made very little field position except from 40:20 kicks and relied on the one-eyed performance of the ref to get down our end of the field - and that's the only reason you stayed in the game.

Thought it was a fairly poor match myself, too many tries and penalties.

| Along with faz we also have the option of recalling Chris Tuson from Cas. Based on his performance the other week on Sky he wouldnt look out of place if we had to recall him.

They did. But I would rather have Leeds, Saints or Wire coming to Wigan than us going to them! Top and 2nd are pretty much the same but clearly an advantage to being 3rd or 4th. Home games CAN be vital in play offs. Personally I'd fancy Wigan away as well because we've won games away over the years but I still think home advantage was vital to Saints when they beat us last year. Just gave them that edge.

Wow what a halfwit. Hudds were hardly inferior today. It was an even game. Wigan won by not dropping the ball once and capitalising on two poor kick offs.at no point did they dominate. Why not remove your head from your own a**e

| The only way Huddersfield got field position was a 40 20 a stupid amount of one sided penalties and when we got players binned....which when it came down to the Gianst he forgot he had them in his pocket.

So how did Wigan get field position for their tries?yes two kick off penalties plus some more help from the one eyed ref. As a born and bred wiganer your complete lack of objectivity shames our town.

| as far as field possition is concerned, huddersfield did seem to get into dangerous possitions on the back of penalties.Of which we gave away. Wigan certainly were more dangerous in attack without being marched down the pitch.wether it was down to bad decisions by the ref or ill discipline from the wigan players remains up for debate. IMO had we not given so many penalties away, we would have won very comfortable

Hudds made no attacking field position except via penalties and 40:20 kicks. The only reason it was an even game was because of Silverwood's whistle. Read my post again and tell me where I said we dominated.
Then learn to read and take your head out of your own a**se

And here's me thinking that being top of the league and winning would bring calm and order!

| I thought Silverwood was poor for both sides tbh and really did have a stinker.
After Brown's comments you knew what type of game it would be. I was hoping Wigan wouldn't get sucked in to it but we did. Joel was rightfully binned (as was Coley but i'll get to that later) for a grapple tackle after we had already been warned. No complaints.
Now, if I was a ref who knew that a sides coach had TWICE complained about the officials and stated he would send Keith Mason out to 'even the score' - when Keith Mason flattens Thomas Leuluai off the ball TWICE, my first thought would be 'that must be deliberate' and so Mr Mason would be in the shower pretty early. Silverwood however decided he had seen it but wasn't sure how to act so put it on report (don't get me started on that rule)
Now Coley's binning is dubious in that it was never back to one in the memory of man and so should have been a turnover after the tackle rather than zero tackle and obv a pro foul (he was rightfully binned but as I say from a wrong decision)
The last try - now i'm not sure about the etiquete up in Hudds but when Wigan kick a 40/20 which I can see from my h/w line vantage point I tend to cheer it. When Hudds kicked theirs late on there was no reaction from the Hudds fans. The Wigan players near the ball all waved that it had gone and turned round. Some 50+ year old TJ who hadn't even crossed h/w decided it hadn't gone and was a 40/20. I shall reserve judgement on that one I think.
Oh and Matty - sure they only scored twice whilst we had 12. They did grab two tries pretty much instantly that we became 13 again though.

When Tomkins went off Hudds scored twice, kicked one goal (im sure).
The Coley one was a try when we were down to 12, the next try granted was the very next play as he came on.
Im sure Bilko's report will reveal.

I will conceed, not many teams win FE's away from home. It's happened only twice. Home advanatge is the big advantage of the top 2.
