If Noble was only told 1 week ago who the hell decided we would offer Sean Long a deal? Who decided to resign Phelps and Coley?

What if the new man who i assume IL has appointed in the last week or 2 for next year doesnt want any of those 3 players. I know Long didnt sign but if he had would he actually of wanted Sean Long?

He isn't our enforcer and never has been. We dont have one.

Before we start celebrating Noble departure lets see who the almighty IL employ's. If it's someone who it to take the club forward then, lets get behind him and the team. If its a yes man on the cheap then god help them all.

I would like to say thank you though to Brian and his back room staff, first of all for saving us from relegation and second for giving us a lot of excitment in the play offs (and a little stress), but giving us a team that although fell short in so many departments still give us semi final rugby and high blood pressure.

The previous 2 Saints coaches were both there for longer than 3 years.

Noble brought us from a relegation team to a semi finals team and achieved that 2 years ago.
Long before then we all knew that to become a finals winning team we needed new players, a half back and a prop or two.
IL knows this and so did Noble who identified the players he wanted and he felt would take us up that level to a finals team with a hope of winning.
They haven't been signed simply because IL has decided not to. For whatever and many reasons.
The reason we have not improved from two years ago is most certainly not Noble's fault. It is down to IL and his deciding not to bring in the quality players we need to take us to the next level.

Semi finals may be good enough for most clubs but this is Wigan and semis aren't good enough for the biggest club in the game.
