I thought that Cudjoe try was off side too, and waited for any decent replays.

Only just got home, but watching it live I thought that David Hodgson knocked on near his line from a kick when Sam was then adjudged to have knocked on while scoring.

Yet again, surely this should have been a Wigan scrum 10 metres out - first offence Hodgson knock on.

Sam never had control of the ball, so no advantage had accrued.

Game changing moment, as instead of Wigan attacking scrum Huddersfield had the scrum and went upfield and scored their 1st try.

Similar to Cup QF against Leeds when Ganson awarded a Leeds scrum after Lee Smith had knocked on from a high kick. Sam knocked on while trying to score, but no advantage had accrued.

Ironically, 10 minutes later Bentham brought the game back for a Wigan scrum, even though Riddell kicked the ball forward more than 10 metres after a Huddersfield knock on but a Huddersfield player regathered.

Where is the consistency?

The VR obviously thought it went back (I wasn't sure tbh)

Now seen it on Sky - a 50/50 fumble, but they normally get judged to be a knock on - unless it's a VR with Wigan attacking on the oppositiion line!

That Brett Hodgson one from the kick was definitely a knock-on though, no way did it go backwards.

I know what you mean, the first thing the sky team usually discuss of a kick try is onside/offside and it is strange that they didn't. However he was onside so it doesn't really matter.

One thing that was defo caught by the sky cameras wasnt a knock on, off side or a bad VR. It was those fans leaving and in some cases running out of the ground. THE FAMOUS WIGAN WALK ha haaaa

I suppose if the Ref and TJ were happy that he was onside then there's no need for the VR to check it.

They have to decide for themselves when Sky aren't there.

For example, twice Wigan crossed the advantage line and knocked on (Richards offloading and JTomkins knocking on) and Piggy kicking through, yet the scrum went Wigan's way. Rather that us clearing our lines we were under the cosh again.

I think we would of had to have gained the ball to gain advantage first.

At the game, I thought Cudjoe was offside, but I now know he wasn't.
However...it took us a couple of slow-motion replays on the recording to be sure of that.
It was a close one, though, as the replays prove.
So, how come Mr Bentham did not bother to go to the screen?
And how come the Sky commentators did not even mention the possibility of offside?

Let me know when Dire get 13,600 at home to Huddersfield. We'll all have a laugh then!

It's all a Sky-RFL conspiracy to get decisions correct at Wigan's expense. Disgusting.

But as we didn't actually gain possession of the ball, that WAS the correct decision. If Riddell had taken the ball in two hands and THEN kicked, we would have been taking advantage. The advantage rule is there to cover a team making a pressure play they wouldn't normally risk without the safety of "first knock on". Kicking the ball through doesn't wipe out that particular infringement.

As for Cudjoe's try, seen it again now, as others have said he was onside. It was a very good try.

You can continualy go on about attendances and replays I was making a true fact. And asking a question,even sky are in on the act and always show your true fans leaving 10 even sometimes 20 mins before the end. Would they have stayed if you was winning? And when you pick up the minor premiership are you champions or do you have to win the grand final or both to be called champions? And before you all start slaging me or warrington off its a genuin question to genuin supporters
