Maybe Nobby doesn't believe in pre-season as part of his plan to build momentum but being underprepared seems to be a general feature of his teams.

I'd wonder personally why the hell you'd want to do fitness work at the end of a 8 month SL season. Prep for that kind of tournament would be pretty different to gearing a team up for a season after a long break.

The one's in bold can go for me, and unless Hansen can add another dimension to his game he can go to, harsh but it's whats needed if we want to succeed.

With Karl Pryce it's dependent upon what McGuire can get out of him.

That is the same with all of our players! A new coach with a new team, he should get more out of some, especially Feka, Pryce, Riddell and Roberts.

How you can possibly consider keeping Karl Pryce before any of the others astounds me.

I know it looks bizarre but I really think that with the right coaching motivation and encouragement he'll come good. Age is one his side plus he has all the physical attributes to make it, I'm sure he'll become a good player for us after all he's got a year to prove himself or that's it.

If Bailey stays if could get a one year deal, same applies to Carmont.
That could be another two added to the list.
Plenty opprtunity for Maguire to sort out who he wants and those he doesn't.

What about Phelps?

Don't get me wrong I like Phelps but I'd like to see Veivers get a go and see whether he's up to it, plus he's British and therefore doesn't take up a quota spot which are going to become increasingly valuable as the quota decreases.

If Vievers (who i haven't seen play yet btw) has the talent and can develop like Phelps can them i'm more than happy for him to have a go as well.

Looks like it could be a big season not only for Phelps but Vievers at Wakey next season!

At least give KP a full pre season, he hasn't had that chance to have one yet since being at Wigan and from talking to a couple of ex Wigan players and a current Wigan player this is when the real hard training is done, might be just what he needs.

Fair enough, I accept that KP looked a good player at one time when he was at Bradfford but whenever I have seen him this year he looks lethargic and uninterested and can only improve.

He looked lethargic and uninterested in the reserves' final and I thought he'd be up for that game.

Pryce's last game at the JJB for Bradford he ripped us apart.
He was their most dangerous player.
We just need to get that kind of performance out of him.
