Yep, the only thing that appears to be consistent is the inconsistency of the match officials in recent seasons.

Like I said in a prior post a total overhaul of the match officials department in the RFL needs to take place to sort this problem out.

No - Just like there's no recompense for Catalans having to play against 13 men for 30 minutes or so, when it was clear that Leeds should have been down to 12. And even worse, the fact that the offending player went on to score a further 7 points.

I still don't see when there is an incident like last nights why the video ref can't step in. On video replay its obviously at least a sin bin. So why can't he just pass that info on? Its not like it would slow the game down its already stopped while the touch judges and ref stop and bottle it

Fakirs elbow got penalised, the head shot on Burrow was off balance and put on report and unless he has been a naughty boy this season (I don't know if he has or not) he'll get a warning.

Trouble is, I believe that for a head-shot, it can ONLY be either a penalty or a straight red.

So there was plenty there that Catalan got away with as well then, you seemed to miss it off when just pointing out the Whino infringements. Catalan also had the penalty count heavily in their favour. Think it was something like 15-7.
