The bench of Hansen, Crosby, Charnley and Tuson looks a little light and inexperienced.

So if the Moose injury is correct then that's pretty much the season gone and it's only bout 8 or 9 months since his shoulder ended last season for him as for Faz depending on severity that's again a couple of months isn't it unless it's just a strain which I hope is the case.

It certainly is. Their pack is very good, as they showed against Wire, and with us now missing Fielden, Lima & (if rumour is true) Mossop, we're very light on the bench. Crosby's a great prospect, but still untried at the top level.

Might have to see Coley & Preccy geting more game time than usual.

From a fully available pack we are missing, Fielden, Lima, Mossop, Hock, O'Carroll and Farrell.

If we are, then I think the fact that we must get off to a good start is vital. If we can post two or three tries in the first fifteen to twenty minutes, I think Catalan will begin to flag. They clearly had an extremely tough battle last week against Wire, and no doubt will be feeling the after effects of that match still. However if we let them stick with us or get ahead, it's only going to do wonders for their confidence. A real fast paced clinical start from our lot, will go along way to Wigan winning this match. Particularly when we maybe fielding such a small bench in comparison to what Catalans will have on their bench.

No team has that kind of depth. We've been blighted by injuries this season. I can see us struggling tonight.

It says on the Wigan website that Farrell is out and replaced by Jack Hughes but no mention of Mossop being injured.

I thought Jack Hughes had gone on loan to Barrow?

Just the bench thats weaker but im confident each one of them will do a good enough job.

What happened to Jonny Walker? He was surprisingly kept on in our original squad list but not seen or heard of him since. Injured?

It is a blow that Mossop and Farrell won't play, the pack now looks pretty light against a huge Catalans pack.

Our attack will have to improve to win this one. I was watching the Hull away game from last year last night, we look like a different team now, no where near as confident spinning the ball out!

It isn't a loan, it's a "dual-registration" which means he goes to Barrow part time and only if not needed here. Ben Davies is a full blown loan deal because he is too old now to qualify for dual-reg.

He got injured in the Barrow pre-season game.
