Exactly the LAST thing they should have been doing was a boat load of fitness at that stage of the year, the conditioner who was with the team at the time should also take a massive amount of stick for this.

I am really looking forward to seeing the affect our new coach has on Fielden, Tomkins (both of them) Ainscough and Pryce. Pryce has all the hall marks of an Inglis or Falou physically if Maguire can get his body and head in the right place I still honestly think we have an International standard player on our hands, big if i appreciate but who knows.

No chance as he does not quite have the ball handling skills and he is not quick enough. He could be a very good centre maybe the best in the country but I doubt it. How dare you compare hime to Inglis and Folau. Inglis is a God of RL.

You're definitely right jonh, he has the kinda of physicality that's rare to find over here but that the Ozzies seem to be uncovering more and more of.

It's a tremendously big if, but as he's already contracted for next year we may as well get off his back and see what MMag can do with him, we've nothing to lose.

Well Folau isn't. He has his weakness in defence he can be pretty shocking - the sort of stuff that would get him booed every time he went near the ball over here.

Doesn't stop Folau from being a great player though, and no reason why he can't develop that side of his game.

We've got nothing at all to lose with Pryce, he's contracted, we've got a new coach with new methods and ideas, lets see if he can get something out of Karl. If not, then we just don't give him a new contract.

Really really hope the booing every time he goes near the ball though stops next season

Even in the reserves he looks slow and cumbersome. The only thing he shares with Inglis is that he's bigger than most centres.

Is this rumour being taken seriously by anyone?

I have it on good authority that there is a strong possibility that it will happen.

Andy Coley - poss keep depending on performances and other players availability
Cameron Phelps - I have been very impressed with Phelps in the 2nd half of the season, and as long as his performances are the same as this then I would keep for at least another 1-2 years
Karl Pryce - I'd get rid now. I don' t care about all the reasons behind KP. He is lazy, uninterested etc etc He looked liked he couldn't care less in the Reserves GF. Hopefully we can loan him out next season and he won't come back.
Darrell Goulding - unsure
Harrison Hansen - unsure but leaning towards keep
Mike McIlorum - def keep!
Lee Mossop - def keep
Paul Prescott - def keep
Iafeta Paleaaesina - If he doesn't improve his stamina and time on the field then get rid
Stuart Fielden - get rid

Hansen covers the spot Cassidy used to fill, nothing spectacular, just does the little things right and works his socks off, and has excellent defence.

I like Hansen, he does a lot of leg work and always runs the ball in well. Every team needs a couple of players who slog it out and do the boring things to give the glitzy players more field position, space etc.

You could see the difference in Coley this year when he had to play for his contract, a marked improvement on last year's efforts.

People who are wanting Cameron Phelps out confuse me greatly, in my opinion he’s been a solid fullback this year and towards the end of the season was a quality performer in the squad with many moments of brilliance.

I would only want him out if we could get Briscoe!

Couldn't agree more. A hugely improved player from 6 months ago, one of the best players in the last couple of months.

I wouldn't want him out even for Briscoe if he can continue the development he's made over the past few months.
