Therefore, the bits in IL's statement which say that Gareth Hock demanded a mid-contract pay rise, and then demanded a move to Australia at short notice, and then, later, when Wigan provided a potential move to Aus for him, turned it down and said that he would never play for Wigan again - are all true.

Now, in all honesty, do you not think that Wigan RL have better things to do than be messed around like this, by a player who they previously went out on a limb for? Regardless of whether or not a third party is causing problems for Gareth, do Wigan Warriors really need that kind of hassle in their lives?

Hock wanted out due to the unstated reasons, which I too would have wanted to leave over. Hock never wanted to go to Aus or play for any other club, he simply felt he wasn't getting the deserved money, and via his agent (basically his agent) were using the interest from Aus as leverage to gain more money. Hock signed a 'lesser contract' if it wasn't for the drugs ban he would have been on considerably more. He wanted a wage which reflected his ability (one of the best players in the league if not the world).

Regardless of such I have no opinion on his contract negotiations, they happen all the time in sport, and agents do have different tactics to up the salary of the clients.

What my concern is the reason why Hock wanted out.

It seems we are finding out the influence of GH's agent.
He tries to get Gaz more money, due to Hock believeing he is worth it, then ends up with having his client leaving the top of the table club to play for the team that finished bottom of the League.
I do hope that's not true and I've read something wrongly into this. If the above is anything like true then I genuinely feel sorry for Gaz.

He did want more money. Then a major issue with Wane hit which caused him to just want out, regardless of money or anything.

Hock wanted out of Wigan due to an issue with Wane. Hock looks like a total idiot who's disrespected the club, Hock's reasons for living are justified, personally I would have wanted out myself if I was in the same situation.

The problem is, on one hand, you're claiming that Hock left because an issue arose so bad that you too would have wanted to leave. But on the other, you're claiming that Hock left because of an issue with Wane.
