We can't have a discussion because every time we try too people come out with "if only you knew the truth" and then refuse to give the truth whilst getting upset that people want said truth.

Well you may well do so, and lets say, for the sake of argument, that you do indeed know the truth. Sadly, the way you are handling this info does not make you look very credible. And you don't seem to get that by playing the big man with comments like 'if only you knew the truth' and 'others will leave because of it' isn't going to have people asking for a reason or story.

I could quite easily post that I know something and refuse to divulge what it is, but how many people are going to believe me without more detail? None is the answer.

You assure us that IL is not lying. Therefore, the bits in IL's statement which say that Gareth Hock demanded a mid-contract pay rise, and then demanded a move to Australia at short notice, and then, later, when Wigan provided a potential move to Aus for him, turned it down and said that he would never play for Wigan again - are all true.

Now, in all honesty, do you not think that Wigan RL have better things to do than be messed around like this, by a player who they previously went out on a limb for? Regardless of whether or not a third party is causing problems for Gareth, do Wigan Warriors really need that kind of hassle in their lives?

Thats the second time you have said you don't care who believes you, but constantly take umbrage with anybody who questions your knowledge. If its such common knowledge, post it.

Hock wanted out due to the unstated reasons, which I too would have wanted to leave over. Hock never wanted to go to Aus or play for any other club, he simply felt he wasn't getting the deserved money, and via his agent (basically his agent) were using the interest from Aus as leverage to gain more money. Hock signed a 'lesser contract' if it wasn't for the drugs ban he would have been on considerably more. He wanted a wage which reflected his ability (one of the best players in the league if not the world).

Regardless of such I have no opinion on his contract negotiations, they happen all the time in sport, and agents do have different tactics to up the salary of the clients.

What my concern is the reason why Hock wanted out.
