I don't think anybody knows 100% that he did but if he did i'd guess it must come down to being offered less money then what Hull or giving him or the fact that he'd get hell of the majority of fans here at Wigan. |

Long had already been quoted a figure Wigan was prepared but it was less than other clubs Wakey being 1 and it wasnt a fixed 2 year deal was 1 year with 1 year dependent from what ive been told. |

It's alomost nailed on we'll fanny about until mid January watching all over superleague teams getting their squads together whilst we miss out on any decent players and then we'll end up with a fullback, another winger, a centre and a utility scrum half/hooker and no more forwards!
We're very modern thinking in that we're going to stop playing with forwards and just have 13 backs  |

He more often than not gave 100% for Wigan... problem was he was crap. |

Correct. As an FC supporter I've been amazed by Calderwood's attitude. We are the least expansive club in the competition and he's had many makeshift centres to partner this season, so he gets virtually nothing in terms of opportunities, but like you say he will put in tremendous effort and chase lost causes all day. I never liked him before he came to Hull, but he has been the player that's impressed me the most this season (as already mentioned, little competition ) |
