We’re a strange team…it’s as though we purposely play within ourselves at times. We’re capable of making it look much easier than we actually do. If we can deal with the territory issues (easier said than done), we could have a decent finish to the season.

Good try. I think its been an improvement personally. Too many repetitive drop off plays and we all know our issues in the middle of the field. But it's been an enjoyable competitive game, unlike some recently.

Me and my Dad said the same. Shorrocks at hooker again is poor. Our defence hasn’t been that bad, other than the meltdown for Williams’ try but our attack right up until Havard going over we didn’t even look like scoring. Luckily for us Warrington don’t look coherent and haven’t capitalised on their dominance this half. Like I said earlier on in the thread, if we can out enthuse their pack and make them make errors we’re in with a shot today.

Manful efforts from the kids and good effort from the usual suspects are the positives. The negatives are the same old story-lack of experience and punch in the middle, awful discipline and we look like we’ve not bothered with training this week again.

You just know people will take that hand to the ear far too seriously. The fans gave him a bit of stick, he gave a bit back - its only a bit of banter.

So so poor in attack, no dummy runners just pass side to side and when that doesn’t work the awful inside ball, worst attack I’ve ever seen at Wigan

Our attack with the ball close to the line is just horrendous. Nobody looks willing or coached to move at all unless they know they’ll get a pass stood still. It’s just so easy to defend against.

Ref stops the game for Walkers ankle but wasn’t going to for Shorrocks having a head injury from the same tackle.

Are we setting some kind of record for not scoring in a half? I don’t think Workington were this bad.

When we have to actually throw the ball about we look even worse. The skill level within this side, the quality of coaching and the use of players is appalling. How many minutes did Byrne and Bullock put into that performance today? We carry so many players every week I just can’t wait for this season to end.

What the last two games have told me is keep the defensive coach and get a new coach who knows how to build clinical attacking options.
