For me the first kit is a little too Salford.
However it's a crime we haven't had the Canterbury style blue V away kit since the mid 80s. This needs to happen for me.

I voted for the plain red option when we voted for 6 alternatives the other year because of that Green Vigo kit. Rooted in tradition, but totally different.
If it's the alternative shirt year, I'd still love a plain red one, or a red shirt with white chevron.

Yes. Dave Marshall. Despite Wigan 'supposedly' being fully professional, he worked in NEXT.

The video were Wigan are playing in red? If so then no. Dave Marshall was circa 1987 debut. That's late 70s.

The wingers that day were Green Vigo and Jimmy Hornby. Dave Willicombe was Vigos centre, what a player he was.

| I remember Dave Marshall breaking his leg in a A-Team game at Central Park I heard the bone crack! Miss those days where you could run all around the ground and have a explore!

That's exactly how I started watching Wigan!
Dad used to take me down to midweek A-team matches (aged 5-6) and lift me over the turnstile to get in for nowt, then I'd run off and latch on to some other randoms who were in the same boat and mooch about.
After a couple of years I slowly stopped running off and exploring and begun to actually watch the games and players with Green Vigo being the first Wigan player I idolised.
Thus begun an almost lifelong love for the Greatest Rugby League Team in the World™!
