I thought Brough's ban was far too short, the panel somehow accepted he made contact whilst simply trying to regain his feet.

I also thought Rangi got off lightly (although at least the opposition player had the ball). At the time, he also had no previous suspension.

Flower has led with the elbow into the face of a player without the ball who was in a vulnerable position. His previous record includes the longest suspension in SL history and he has been found guilty of could play already this season.

You must realise that it's going to be difficult for anyone to take the opinion of a Leigh fan seriously when it comes to foul play?! Your club has been nothing short of a disgrace both on the field and in the executive boxes (via the behaviour of your board) over the past couple of years. You have some really poor characters involved in your club at the moment so clearly your comments will be taken with a pinch of salt.

I just saw it as high and late with a forearm, possibly just a yellow and 1-2 game ban depending on EGP

However if it is proved to be an elbow then its a stonewall red and a 6-8 game ban as it could easily break someones jaw

I think everybody (outside the bottom 4, well 3 apart from Leeds) wanted you to be promoted because you deserve to be there. I want to see Wigan v Leigh in a league game again. I want Leigh to prove they arent just a flash in the pan. I think you will easily be in the bottom 4 next year, however i do believe you will be way to strong for the following middle 8s. I think Leigh are here to stay.

Explain what? It's as clear as day that you have a side chocked full of bad eggs. You've got the ultimate 'wrong un' in Hock (and we should know)! Jamie Acton is another ex player of ours who is a disgrace and then you've got the Sam Barlow case (which by the sounds of things has left him lucky not to be serving time at her majesty's pleasure).

As for your board, your owner is a pure idiot who has little respect in the game. I believe the behaviour of your owner and directors at some games has been very poor (especially against Bradford on a couple of occasions).

As I say your opinion on foul play or poor behaviour won't hold much weight.

Leigh are going to have a massive step up in weekly intensity next year. This year, most of their games have been won at a canter (which isn't a criticism, you can only beat what is in front of you).
Next year, they will be playing SL teams every week, and not just the ones who have finished at the lower end. Can they cope with a run of games against the likes of Wigan, Hull FC, Saints, Warrington etc? They will also pick up far more injuries due to the high intensity of the league than they have strolling past part-time opposition this year.
I hope they do well and they deserve their place, but a gruelling SL season is a completely different proposition to the previous two years.

And Wane is a model of integrity. Gaz Hock has done no wrong at Leigh. Acton can be a c0ck Derek is a hero in Leigh and dont beleive all that you read in the Mark Green column. I think it probably deserves 3-4 games.

And if he's really trying to hurt him, he doesn't turn his back and lose the momentum, he'd charge with the elbow in front of him. Not defending it at all, it's rightly deserving of a season ending ban - but we've all seen worse.

After the Grand Final, I felt he should never be allowed on a rugby field again. It was so obviously a sending off offence tonight and he still saw fit to argue the case while he was walking.

A great come back tonight. Once you decided to start playing rugby there was only going to be one winner. As a Hull fan, it sets up a great finale at the KC next Friday.

We have all indeed seen worse. Indeed, we have seen worse from this particular player.
However, I'm struggling to think of anything quite as dangerous as leading into the face of a vulnerable player with the elbow in this or recent seasons.
Perhaps the tackle on Fages by the Catalans player a couple of years ago...

I know Barlow ain't playing Rugby League for four years. I know Acton and Hock are two of the most banned rugby league players in the world game. I know Beaumont is a really un-likeable character (matter of opinion) and reports are that he's not that well thought of at other clubs.

You can throw what you want at Flower and Wane (you could call it a tantrum if you want), but ultimately their misdemeanours pale in to insignificance in comparison to those of the characters named.

Why does the behaviour of some other people mean that this guy's opinion is not relevant? If some people who are not you but are involved with Wigan behaved badly would that affect the validity of your opinions?
