I wouldn't mind if we played Gildart on the wing and Bateman at centre. I dont think Terney has let anybody down but we need to tighten up against Hull. With our attack we need to keep Hull down to a maximum of 3 tries and Gildart/Tierney don't fill me with hope defensively

Ask any Hull Fan and 9 out of 10 will tell you the winning the cup would be magic. I suppose when you have been there a lot it losses its appeal. But I know to me just thinking of been standing next to my Grandad who has supported Hull for 70 odd years and finally seeing them lift it a Wembley would be amazing.

I'm so fed up with this injury talk. RL is a high impact collision sport, giving rise to more injuries than football or RU. All teams suffer from it. If they dont, they are the exception to the rule. The side listed upthread is good enough to beat Hull BUT, they will have to play much better, and smarter, than in recent weeks.

Put ISA right centre with Manfredi Sarginson with Gildart, Sutton secong row with Bateman.

I would like to see Bateman at centre but in place of Sarginson who is offering not a lot at the minute.

There aren't any "World Class" players currently in SL hth



Regarding the semi final v Hull FC

If Hull FC score 18/20 points then i think that we will be beaten as i can't see us topping that score on current form

Unless of course we come up trumps and score 3 tries from our only successful attacking move and catch Hull unawares of our grubber into the corner ploy

Good post, no matter who you have out its still a very good side and one that had already beaten us and finished only a couple of points behind us, still lots of class and experience.

Good analysis of Hull, only pack is strong, but it's our spine of Shaul, Sneyd and Houghton that is what makes us tick.

I think we'll put in a much better effort than against St Helens but would be pleasantly surprised if we got a win. The petulance and lack of discipline has come back into our game which is costing us dearly IMO. We don't have the composure the team at the start of the year had, how much of that is the opposition winding players up and how much is us reacting I'm not sure, a bit of both probably but either way the players need to learn not to react and concentrate on their game.

As others have said the talk of injuries etc is just boring now. We all know the situation lets just get on with it.

As for the game I expect a comfortableish (10 to 12) win for Wigan.

If we don't win I think Hull will have had to play very well, and will have fully earned their place at Wembley, regardless of what team we put out.

As I live in Portugal I have booked my Wembley hotel.i am quietly confident we will beat hull.also flew in for the derby but that was softened with my bet of £50 @14/1 Lewis to score first try.
