In his post match interview on the BBC, on the subject of the Flower sending off, Nathan Brown says something along the lines of it not being the first time he has picked on a smaller guy, I had the opinion that Flower was quite squeaky clean (for a prop) and was not prone to this kind of repeat behaviour.

He will get more than 8, wouldn't be surprised to see a pet ion of it suspended though

I can see them going for a period of suspension rather than x number of matches - it will essentially be the same i.e 7 months of 10 matches, but 7 months looks a harsher penalty for those who don't follow RL and are frothing at the mouth.

No visits, those are the reviews, none were actually sent to the disciplinary.

I'd say he'll get a 6 month suspension to start at the beginning of the 2015 season. Anything less than him being hung, drawn & quartered will have those outside our fair parish choking on their pints of bitter.

Possibly, the obvious problem with that is the next time someone does something as bad, a similar time sentence may be a much harsher punishment.

12 with 4 suspended is my bet.

I doubt it would be hat much but a lengthy ban should be in order, you never do a man on the deck.

in reply to all the Saints fans who want him hung drawn and quatered, banned sine die etc etc ...theres a brilliant picture doing the rounds on facebook. It shows Hohoia's initial assault on Flower, nice elbow to the jaw, and the Saints fans in the background are all laughing !!!!!!!

Was there a big mirror in front of Ben Flower? Im not sure how the saints fans behind Ben Flower could have seen that. Seemed pretty obvious they were laughing at him dropping the ball when pretty much through.

They were probably laughing at flower dropping the ball, you can't really judge them on that, in real time at the stadium everything happens so fast you can't always process exactly what's happening, they see flower bomb a try and a mass brawl break out.

I wonder how many games into the season Good Friday is ?

Thanks, I'd checked all the RFL disciplinaries, and found no charge on all of them, didn't realise he as banging on about something Flower had been found innocent of!
