Superb shirt that IMO.

The home ones nice but there wasn't enough of a difference to the 2012 kit to twist my arm but this one has.

I do like the fact that in this day and age of numerous shirt sponsors, we only have the one main one on the front of the shirt. Ok we have about 10 on the back and the sleeves, but I hate it on other teams kits that there's about 5 different sponsors on the collar, chest and wherever else on the front of the shirt. I think we're the only team who does this

not sure i would want to walk round in a Pats, judes, cuthberts etc shirt....and suspect many others dont. i think it would be detrimental to shirt sales. But nice idea..maybe as a one off for the annual community game?share of proceeds going to nominated amateur side each year?

ewww, I don't like it. Mostly because wearing purple makes me look too pasty....!

Wigan away shirt is the best for next year along with Catalans home jersey. Very good design and colour scheme.

I'm made up with it. I always tend to prefer our blue kits as blue is one of my favourite colours but this shirt has both my favourite colours combined. When I saw this morning that it was rumoured to be purple, I was hoping that it would be! Just hope I can manage to buy it without the ugly sponsors on the back...

It's different but I like it.

Not a massive fan of the away shirt, but just noticed on both home and away the Applicado sponsorship logo has been slightly tweaked -

Not sure if this has been picked up before but think it looks brilliant and has obviously been modified to make their trademark arrow look like its the ball going over the posts....whoever came up with that TOP MARKS! Subtle but a great change!

Personally I don't like purple so it's a no for me.

But I have to laugh about someone complaining that they didn't feel it was value for money. It works out as 10p a day if you are a season ticket holder and about 15 p a day if you are not. Then someone complained about the quality of the video from some game back in the 1980's. What did they expect HD / 3D?

What I have seen so far is really good value for money.

I wish the season would start soon, at least they may have something proper to moan about i.e the referee.

As a fellow Wigan fan in Melbourne I can help there. You can get Super league games on EuroSport. You only get the match. They are live and they do repeat them. But no pre or post match interviews.

Bought it within minutes of seeing it. Love it.

Some of the training/leisure stuff looks really good as well. The Mrs has already confiscated my bank cards and banned me from going in the shop unaccompanied

Yes Brian!!!! If they can get episodes of Friends in HD then they can put a game from the 80s in HD. Bl00dy rubbish Wigan!!!!!!!!!!

Technically they can if they shot the originals on film (16mm, 35mm etc etc).. but, it's highly unlikely they have the original copies.. BUT that's splitting hairs.. If it was me running the gig, I'd make it happen.

(British Pathe is an excellent source for colour HD films from the 50's onwards)
