The classification by the disciplinary panel has been ungraded meaning their maximum ban of 8 games is deemed insufficient. If found guilty he's looking at more time off than 8 weeks.

Fully deserved, it was blatant. Contesting the charge was sheer lunacy and a guilty plea would have probably resulted in a much shorter ban.

Not really sure why he pleaded not guilty. The evidence was pretty damning and pleading not guilty would have probably seen a 25% reduction in the punishment, then he could have used 2/3 England games and a couple of trial games and he would have only missed 4/5 games.
