This sort of idea will KILL THE SL, if there is a problem with the way the play offs are set, change it. I’m sorry but this is a real bad idea, and I keep hearing it ever since Leeds won the GF. Stop this we can lose this one or lose that one and we’ll have a better chance of winning the GF, [uI’d sooner us not be in the bloody Grand Final![/u Saying why don’t we rest players against Saints is just the same thing if the idea is to lose.

For the record, I hate the fact that some teams don't play the strongest squad etc every week.
As a season ticket holder and regular away game fan, I pay to watch the so called best players every game. The game at the moment is becoming a joke.

This top eight is just rewarding mediocrity, we could end up with the fact that we have beaten Saints four times in the Super League for nothing, if they beat us once to get to a Final.

I personally would hate Wigan to not try and win every game, but the reality of the competition is that it would potentially give us an advantage not to.

Surely a system that enables this to happen can't be right?

simple solution would be to base the Sky money that clubs get on final league placings and make it worthwhile finishing top...... Some say it wouldn't be fair and that the top clubs would then be financially better off, tough.......everyone should strive to improve and not bring the standard of the league down to just to accomodate the weaker teams........
