The way I see it. A Rugby League's club's success comes in cycle's. And usually the departure of that club's trophy winning players heralds the end for a while of that clubs success. It's just the way it is. Question is can Wire buck that trend? Only time will tell. |

Listen to Tony Smith's interview and its very clear what his plan is for the Warrington squad going forward for the next three or four seasons. He certainly wouldn't allow the club to lose its two half-backs and strike centre all at the same time with-out having ready-made replacements embedded at the club.
You will have harped-on for three seasons, come the start of next year's season with your doomsaying about Warrington's aging squad (same as how the tax liability was to bring the club to its knees - I notice your quiet on that front now!) yet that period will havbe coincided with Warrington's most successful period for over half a century. Don't be suprised when Warrington's fans don't share your concern.'"
TS has done a very good job at Warrington (as expected) and finally looks to be putting into place a succession policy.
whilst its good to have 10+ youngsters coming through, realistically you only need 2-3 a season. wolves look to be building nicely for the next few seasons. the only question is whether wolves success will bring TS to the attention of the NRL. The beauty of having an English coach is that we can prepare for the future without having that shadow over us. |

Tbh i do not think there is 1 coach in SL that would even get an interview for a coaching job in the NRL at present. |

He only played the first half, and didn't get much ball really, so hard to tell. He was taking the goalkicks, though (made one, missed one). |
