I actually really like that Wigan shirt. It's completely different to anything I've seen Wigan in before but it certainly catches my eye.

Depends how much the shirts cost to manufacture I suppose, still a hell of a lot more than other clubs have donated though.

It's a very personal design to Jack, I don't think the club with have much problem selling them. For those who are complaining at the £10 donation per shirt they should consider the club clearly aren't using this as a profit making exercise, they will be covering their own costs, generating £6000 to the charity and raising awareness in what will be a huge game for TV audiences. Warrington donated £5 per shirt sale on their charity strip produced by the same manufactures.

Having looked again at both the on-line store and the available products over the last few years, I remain convinced that Wigan RL have no idea on how to market the club's merchandise. How many will sell and in what sizes? I dont know and I'm sure the club are clueless. 600 shirts only and at least 8 sizes? So, if like me you try to ring up what chances of a Large shirt; next to zero. Well thats another £10 towards charity, plus charity aid they wont receive. Why oh why dont they allow pre-payment and pre ordering, then they will know how many and what sizes they need to produce. Result, the fans get what they want, in the sizes they want them and theres no shirts left to put in the sale box. Maximise costs and keep the fans happy? Not a chance!

You've done more than us, we arent even selling shirts. Game shirts will be auctioned off presumably all funds going to the charity.

I'd have bought one but it may be because we have already had our charity shirt for the season.

Shirts will be available in adult sizes XS-4XL and children's sizes 6-14 years. Unfortunately due to the limited run there will be no women's cut shirts in this design and shirts will not be available to purchase online nor pre-order. Fans living out of the area will be able to order their shirts by phoning Warriors World on 01942 239655 from 5.30pm on launch night; however, the Club asks for patience as the telephone lines are expected to be very busy

Would have fancied one of these shirts to wear at the Cup Final at Wembley this weekend but living out of town means i have no chance of getting one . Pity they look great .

I have been contacted by the marketing department at the club who have taken notice of the post I made above. I now stand corrected in and wanted to point out to others that I accept the club have worked very hard in getting the shirts approved through the team sponsors, having them produced and shipped and that the total amount is based of the amount and sizes of the shirts sold for Seans testamonial.
I'm also a little shocked, but heartened, that the club staff take notice of what fans write on these forums.

I thought your initial comments were pretty harsh tbh but I also thought you did have a point. I think because of the profile that Joining Jack has had recently the demand for these shirts will be higher than they were for the SoL ones, and I think a lot of people will be disappointed tomorrow, especially those who are going to attempt phonecalls. I don't know whether some sort of pre-order or pledge system would have worked better so they knew exactly how many to get made and in which sizes but I also appreciate it must have been difficult to get a one off run sorted out in a fairly short amount of time.
