One positive, the all wigan developed pack really did well

The amount of mistakes though in our own half was not acceptable at all though

Looked like our timing was off a lot of the time in attack, it was obvous if we had actually kept hold of the ball more there would have been more tries as saints defence looks shaky at best

The last two times we played Saints I felt we were good for two or three more tries.

They got quite lucky today on occasion. It was only unforced errors by Wigan that kept them in the game today, until mid-way through the second half, when it was already over.

They made me laugh.

I'm rather enjoying it.

Watching it back on TV now, 6 minutes in and already knowing that Saints have scored their last points for the entire match.

Biggest derby in RL ? Pah , was almost asleep by the hour mark .

I came away from today's match bitterly disappointed at Wigan's offensive performance. We could have really tuck Saints to the cleaners today, big time! But unfortunately our attack was a little off.

Supposedly caused by a divot in the pitch, I dont think the coaching staff are too happy

The most entertaining bit of the game was the game of Hide & Seek between the Stewards in the East Stand and 1 cheeky fan.

I won't complain about the result today, it's always great to beat the Saints, poor team or not!

Let's see what happens at the Etihad in a couple of weeks time.

Yes that was very funny and the lad crept back in too near the end.

There was some Saints fan near me who was being held back by his mates from having a go at him.

It wasn't the best derby: the atmosphere was very flat and the play was quite slow - oh and the result wasn't great (from my POV anyway!)

It was getting quite tasty in the East in the second half, the only thing that mattered today was being in the " hat" or "fridge" for the semi final draw and we managed it with a bit to spare, so that will do for me.

The 'banter' (I hate the word personally) was boiling over at several points; it was becoming more interesting than the actual game!

The half's a are clearly our problem. We gained feild position both with errors from Wigan and the forwards gained position, but after that.......................

The harder people try to pretend they are not bothered about losing, the more you realise that, in reality, they are totally p122ed off by it.

The main reason that Saints got beat yesterday was that the pack got bullied again. Wigan weren't brilliant, in fact had we played a decent team like Wire, Leeds, Catalan or Huddersfield we would have struggled giving up that amount of ball in poor field position, and missing so many chances.
