I've never been to a Magic Weekend before due to cost and transport issues......but this is on my doorstep, so it's great!

Will probably catch the last 3 games on the Sunday only, should be interesting.

I don't think our game will have many neutral fans there. I dare say some Yarkshire fans will hang around for a while, but it's not the best slot to get people to stay till the end.

You'd think there will be enough Wigan and Saints fans for it not to matter too much about neutral fans. It's the 2 early fixtures on the Sunday that are going to need neutral fans to turn up or the ground will look empty. I think a fair few Leeds and Bradford fans will hang around for ours, they won't be able to get home quick enough to watch it on tele and they'd still be home for no later than 10ish.

I wouldn't be surprised if the first game ends up red button and they'll show highlights of that in between the other two games - but we shall see. It's obviously sky's choice rather than the RFL I would suggest, because they have rights to show all 7 matches.

on the RFL website it shows the price for season ticket holders but doesn't give you the option to buy them at that price so will you only be able to buy at that price through the club or do you ring up the RFL Ticket office??

You have to get them off the club to get them at half price. Says on the website they go on sale through Wigan some time in Feb.

BREAKING NEWS : Tickets are on sale now by the looks of it the RFL arnt even opening half the stadium if you check the Magic Weekend website.

Are the greyed out areas not the tickets that will be on sale from the individual clubs? A lot of free seats on the RFL website for a stadium that only holds 45,000ish.

I'm sorry but it only holds 45,000. What is the point?

Saints Wigan at wigan would get 25,000
Hull Hull KR would get 25,000
Bradford Leeds at bradford would get over 20k
Keep adding them up, even if the place fills both nights, there will be less in gate receipts than if this was done at home grounds.

Therefore less money flowing into RL.

I could see the point when we were getting money from the Welsh for holding in Wales, I could see the point when we where supposedly spreading the word outside the heartlands.

Now we have extra fixtures
.In the heartlands
.That will not create a big bang to the start of the season
.That will bring less fans than if the games where at RL grounds
.That will put money in the pockets of Football

but it appears you can only buy tickets for the full weekend, and no ST concession options.
