I think Sam needs a rest because he is clearly injured or else lost his confidence completely, he hasnt been taking the line on in the last month as he usually does.

Its not that the opposition have figured him out either because he hasnt give them chance to touch him.

There is more to the posters point than the accent.

They are saying that the coaching methods down under are better than what we have over here - would you argue with that?

The strongest point for SW is that he has worked with Maguire but if a top NRL coach was available then we would be foolish not to consider it imo.

Deserving the job doesnt come into it - we need to find the right man to take us forward and if it is SW then i too will back him all the way.

On a side note Australian coaches tend to have pulling power when it comes to signing quality oversea's players - although money will always be the key to attracting players having the knowledge to know which players would add the most quality to our team is also vital.

Distraction from what? Wigan's season is over. Any other clubs or competition that are still in progress are irrelevent.

Why are Wigan fans so obsessed with "announcements" people at the club will know what is going on and have things in place for next season, they will tell the fans when they are ready. Are people that sad in the off season that all they do is sit on a keyboard foaming at the mouth because Ian Lenegan hasn't told you what he's had for his tea.

I hope when the announcements are made, something comes out of left field that blows us all away, in a good way that is.

In reality I think it'll be nothing more than confirmation of pretty much what we already know. Still I live in hope that I'll wake up one morning to the news that Lauaki has signed for someone else.
