Anyhoo, you'll find that the flack last night wasn't because you lost, it was because of the way your marketing team have conducted themselves throughout the season. It's one thing for fans to say "we're gonna turn everyone over", but for a marketing team to presume that Wigan wont knock Wire out of the CC, to presume that Wire are going to get to the grand final. THAT'S what made last night funny. That and the fact that Eddie told me that Wire would be at GF. |

What would be really nice is if the Wigan fans who are quick to dish out the slaggings could actually take a slagging themselves. I honestly believe that Wigan did something last night that no team ever has managed to do and unite a nation of RL fans behind Saint Helens. Leeds and Saints have done well to reach the GF against all the odds and despite the seperate rules that you and Wire seem to have.

WRONG!! Wigan werent good enough to beat St Helens on the night!
A team that is the current champions and cup winners dont 'Bottle it'!
A team that has never won something they desperately want get jittery and nervous and unable to play at their best when faced with the prospect of doing it then the phrase 'Bottle it' can be used (ie friday nights game)
so yes, in a sense youre right... Leeds and St Helens were the best teams on the night.
