This is some form of solidarity, Wiganers associating with Salford for being "Greater Manchester".

I'm not sure Salford fans will take that well either, its a bit like calling Wigan "Greater Leigh".

Not at all, both Saford & Wigan are towns in Greater Manchester wheras Leigh is just a small borough of Wigan.

No gloating here, it was a great game played in great spirit, a brilliant advert for our game. No shame in losing for Warrington today, the gave it their all but we had more, especally with it being on their turf.

Like ive said all along about Warrington, its no good running scores up on e teams. It gets you absolutley nowhere when it comes to the big matches.

We beat you comfortably earlier on this season, but when we have injuries and lose, its because we can't compete against the good teams....

Just want to say well done, was a fantastic game for the neutral. The two tries from tompkins and charnley were outstanding, I may be a supporter of the tigers but first and foremost I am a fan of good rugby league well done.

You sir are a jerk... Your profile tells us all we need to know about how your tiny obsessed mind works. IF you had been on the board earlier in the season you would have seen many Wigan fans saying that Warringtons key players were getting a little long in the tooth. Not questioning their ability, just that they were ageing. Yesterday showed this. Two VERY influential talisman like players out, and a very unfit Solomona injured in a tackle that would otherwise have gone unnoticed. I have no doubt that the next time these two teams meet that the result could be reversed, but the fact that you have older players will tell over a long season when players get a hell of a physical battering.

Ok, in reality, Wire tried to blow us away in a 20 minute spell but we were already 22 points to the good which saved us. Had that come at the start of the half and we'd had to chase the game it may have been different but once we got that Pat try to go back 8 clear there was only one winner.
