I like Tomkins as a player, good brain, quick on his feet and always dangerous, but he has a very short fuse, which, against good sides, will inevitably see him getting exposed.
He undoubtedly has a few tricks of his own when it comes to gamesmanship (the clamping of the tackler's arm in the tackle being the obvious one), but its ironic that whenever an opponent turns the table on him that he seems to lose his rag quite quickly.
I hope for his own sake that he can learn to control that temper, otherwise there is a serious chance it will become a massive flaw in his game that opposing sides will soon look to expose.
