You love having a dig at Wire so i'm slightly reluctant to respond, Rangi Chase is a good player don't get me wrong but if you think he's better (i know you didn't strictly say that) than Mick Monaghan then you're going to be one of those posters i'd chalk off the 'knows what they are talking about' list.

Monas would be my choice. Only because he has the second biggest guns in the league, after Jamie Langley.

Excellent player and the kind of player any team would want.

BUT What has impressed me with Wigan this season so far is that they are able to shut opposition stars down and keep that for 80 minutes.

The whole hype going into the game against Hudds was about Danny Brough, and he was chopped from the off.

A positive i take(feel free to shoot me down) is that at Cardiff Roby absolutely ran the show at dummy half, i'm hoping you deal with Mick Mon in the same way.

You compare that with monas, myler briers and hodgson, who i will admit, first two games of teh season i was pretty dodgy on bert for being a greedy , since then has been a revelation.

Huddersfield are only two points behind you in the table. They also happen to be the only team who have beaten you this season.

Admitting that you "were dodgy on that occasion" is very honest of you. But it doesn't dismiss that Huddersfield result as irrelevant. If your 'different class' players can be dodgy at Cardiff, they can be dodgy again.

They're good players, don't get me wrong. But don't get carried away because you whupped a badly out of sorts Harlequins. I think phrases like "we're a different class" are best left until later in the season, when there's been more of a sort-out.
