Yes, great atmosphere last night, Leeds away pity no roof at Shedingley, voice just recovering, what an effort from the lads, really enjoyed it.

Was at the Whinos v Stains game tonight (hospitality, free meal, free wine, free ale so I have an excuse) and about 20 Stains fans tried to start the same song going with about 5 minutes to go - it was pitiful. Where we lead (in RL) others follow.

Surely (assuming you are English) they are "our" rah rah boys, whether we follow them or not?

I always have a little chuckle when the English Rah Rah team lose- when it's against the Irish that little chuckle usually turns into a laugh.

Terrace song trends always seem to come round in waves and then die off eventually to be replaced by the next trendy song.

A lot of the times it's the big football clubs that start them off.

The one that ends with 'your avin a laugh' that everyone sings was started in the bishops blaize like a lot of football chants that end up being fashionable.

Just can't get enough is a Celtic one, Wire seem to have adopted a Rangers chant.

Sunderland are doing it aswell. We need a new one now this one's already old.

I'm sure a lot of football clubs will copy it but we are the first in RL to sing this. I would never take a song from another RL club but Celtic like um or loathe um (captain13) have quality fans and this is a cracker, it will really help the atmosphere at our games.

The reason a lot of songs don't work is because they have complicated words or the tune is not recognised by many of the fans. Everyone knows this tune and everyone can sing along even if they don't know the first bit.

Plus, lets be honest, what could be better than dancing around after a few pints and a Wigan win singing a retro tunre making yourself look like an idiot!
