Locky playing at 6 or 13 isnt a huge difference in attacking sense, he will join the line as a 3rd receiver like he has been doing for the past season. Leaving him at 13 in defense gives him the opportunity to keep his work rate up.

I hope Ryan King gets the wing spot outside carmont. Got pace to burn and strong under the high ball. He is a very elusive runner. Given half a yard not many will catch this lad.

Nope, he pretty much always played on the right wing, with Marsh at right centre. He did have a few games at centre (after Marsh went to Widnes) to accommodate Ainscough on the wing, towards the end of the season, I think.

I know that it is not a defining factor in being a Centre but he really is a good size and shape for being a one.

It's a shame to be missing so many players but in a funny way it's making me look forward to the game even more. It's back to the walls stuff and this side had the desire and character to go to Huddersfield and put in a top performence imo(which still may not be enough). I'm sure Maguire and Wane will have the lads fired up and theres still enough quality in the side even without 6 or 7 first choice players to claim a victory imo if we're right on top of our game.

Exactly right - plus they'll be making it clear that a lot are playing for places. Have a storming few games and some of those missing players may find it difficult to get back in.

The more I think about it the more worried I get but at the same time this Wigan team has never backed down, this Wigan side has never given up, this Wigan side is always in the game.

This Wigan side has the potential to go to Hudds and win despite the injuries.

After the abuse we take from other fans and the jealousy that comes our way, a win here would top any under Maguire IMO. Even Leeds away in the play-offs.
