This sounds like wishful thinking from Wigan fans IMO.

One thing I would say is that ginger is rather childish and does do alot of dummy spitting, not a great example....

However, more than one captain worked here so it can work at saints, I'm pretty sure the team will buy into it.

Finally, if the team does not play as well as last year then I doubt you could put it down to this decision (which some probably will) they have lost their most influential player along with one of super leagues best centres, both were very experienced players.

I don't think you would put Graham in the same category as the guys I mentioned though would you? Not yet anyway. Wellens seems a much cooler head under pressure than Graham for my money.

Loads of captains do that, to be honest it can be smart to an extent. Graham just loses the plot altogether though sometimes.
