Have to agree, Cudjoe was completely out of his depth in the first half. When the Aussie's attack he's flying out of the defensive line leaving huge gaps and when he receives the ball in attacking areas there's a look of total panic on his face. Poor decision by McNamara to play him at centre, poor decision that someone like Gleeson wasn't included in the squad.

Shocking amount of 50/50 decisions that have gone to the Aussie's but that shouldn't be used as an excuse for the poor 25 minutes in the 1st half.

I think I did that a long time ago. Next years 4 Nations I want to see all English refs. Mind you our refs bend over backwards to try and not seem biased.

At least if the refs give the correct calls neither team involved can have any complaints about the result.

Well i'm actually not too downhearted with that tbh.

We know we have problems and especially in the backs but to put up with reffing and video reffing like that and not get a total stuffing isn't the worst result i've seen.

How was Lunt not given benefit of the doubt? and the forward pass try for the Aussies was yet another joke.

You would have to speak to the Aussie ref and VR to get that one answered I'm afraid. The same could be said of a few more decisions as well. Those decisions have made Aus. team look far better than they are.

I notice how you didnt comment on the absolutely embarassing defensive position of O Loughlin for the aussies first try. Ive seen 3 year olds with better defensive positioning. He was just stood there daydreaming, 3 meters out of line.

The decisions have actually left a very sour taste with me. Australia were there for the taking and the VR let them off the hook. Yes we made far to many unforced errors but when the dynamics of the game are changed so dramatically ( the VR decision) then performances can be affected. If we had kept Oz on the ropes and pinched another converted try to make it 6 - 14, chests get puffed out, confidence rises, the ball begins to stick and its game on. As it was the VR cheated and made a cop out decision which instantly deflated a ver inexperienced young side. I for one are quite proud of there efforts if im honest.

I think he is kind of refering to the way England RU do things. Wont happen though. I think that we could incorporate the help of some of SL's best coaches in the 'camps'.

The problem is imports or should I say poor imports taking key positions in Club sides. Look at the Aussies ... They have the attitude of "You play in the NRL or you kiss your international career goodbye" Removing promotion & relegation has cured sod all ! Teams are still going into administration and lets face it not many players from Championship clubs are moving through and being signed by SL clubs - When they do they are loaned back to there Championship club anyway
