My bench is impact, I rate Westwood put against the Aussies we need more than a grunt workhorse second row we need ones who are capable of going the full length and scoring tries.

i know we dont have alot of choice but how is someone who has played 3 first grade games all year the automatic pick id rather have sam at fb and play someone else in the halves people are assuming because he plays in the NRL he is class but he isnt proven and isnt tested we need a strong fb and 2 excellent wingers against the aussies i guess i just dont get fuss about him hope he proves me wrong

Who would you put in the halves then? Widdop is much less of a gamble at FB than anybody else we could replace Sam with in the halves.

well if the team is picked on form and merit as it should be id have sam fb with robinson and brown in the halves i just dont see why widdop who has played 3 senior games all year should be given a start

Robinson and Brown in the halves is just simply not good enough. We need quality players and ive seen enough of them two to know they wont get us anywhere against the Aussies imo. Widdop has the potential to be quality and thats why he is getting a chance imo.

the fact Club is in there instead of Gleeson shows how clueless he is. The thought of Robinson and Brown in the halves for an international makes me chuckle.

In place of Crabtree (within the squad). There is more than enough cover in the props. Crabtree is gash !

Having Farrell in the International set up will be of more benefit in the long run than Big Daddy. Farrell has the making of a World Class forward - Crabtree does not !

I Agree with you about Crabtree, do not rate him at all, only rated because the BBC make a big deal out of him because his grandad was a wrestler.

As good as Gleeson has been this year as someone who spent a small fortune following the 2006 Lions tour I would never pick him for a GB/England tour ever again.

But what have you seen of him he has played 3 games all year this is what I don't get if he played for hull would you say the same?

I don't think Robinson or brown are good enough either but they have played together all year in a team that finished 80 mins from the grand final

I just think widdop is a bit over hyped because of where he is playing

Funny that no leeds players are in the squad as thave "injuries" they will come back fit for next year where our players will have played an extra 6 weeks

i'm with everyone else on the gleeson front, he and goulding make a great right hand side pairing but i'm as dumbfounded as the rest of you all



this could be a bit embarrassing, looking at some of the players in the squad with no offence to the many players in there who do deserve it.

is it only me who thought deacon should be there? He is the form 7 in the league and he gives sam the space at full back.

We look appaulingly weak in the centres and I would seriously consider moving Joel to centre just to strenghten that area up, not looking forward to this series!
