No where does McClennan do anything other than say they were going to refer the incident to the match commissioner so one how is he lying and 2 how could you do him for deformation of character.

Hemmings saying that Sam is standing over Maguire as well, when Sam is clearly next to Halibut. Saw nothing at all on the TV, maybe those at the game saw something? Pretty strong accusations from McClennan, naming an opposition player on TV.
PERHAPS HE SHOULD ISSUE AN APOLOGY AS WELL? SOUNDS LIKE OPEN SEASON ON WIGAN.

Hopefully not too long then, probably the best of the ligaments to go.
Don't like to see a player injured, even if it was whilst commiting a professional foul.
IF its proved (and i havent seen anyone who saw anything at the ground) that McClennan is wrong, then I hope something happens to him in terms of disciplinary. He went out and said that a Wigan player went and injured his player. Rather than said player being injured whilst commiting a professional foul.
BUT
McClennan seems to provoke controversy and it also got him out of talking about how McGuires tackle was cheating. |

McGuire injured himself taking Csarmont out off the ball which saved a possible try because Richards would have passed inside to Carmont for a near certain try to win the game. So McGuire commited a professional foul IMO. I was in the East stand near the incident and there was nothing after the ball as McClennen intimated. He should have watched the replay before insinuating foul play.
