I disagree with the abuse and booing from the terraces, but I don't disagree with the criticisms of his performances.

You think Tuson could handle it? From the bits i've seen of him I see no reason why not and it would be great if we could find an answear from within the club to the question of who backs up our hooking role next year after Leuluai and McIlorum.
Tuson, Walker or whoever is fine by me.

That's the point though. The guy is a winger who has scored tries in 99.9% of games he has played. What more do people want?
Oh, and before anyone mentions Ainscough, he hasn't then conceded three tries due to errors or missed tackles.

Walker is still injured. I was speaking to him at the Wigan v Wire U20's game on Saturday.
He got injured in the Quins v Wigan U 20 game in June.

i didn't think he was up with the speed of the game last week so maybe they are easing back in via the u20's until he's match fit

| TBH this may not be popular as I'm sure many like knowing the team so early but I'm not sure it should be made public before the game. If the club were happy to release their 17, they would do so themselves.
If it became common knowledge that the lineups were leaked on here three days prior to gameday then I'm sure an opposition could get some benefit from it; for example gameplans to attack perceived weaknesses.
Just my opinion.

| Tuson's future could certainly be at hooker, given our crowded back row situation, could be a true utility forward like Mick Cassidy was.

Has he good the distribution skills to play there now though? Will be an important position for us this week given how much Houghton controlled things for Hull last Thursday.

Absolutely !
We are short of grunt in the front row. What we need is a return to his 'human wrecking ball' role .

Why is everyone so bothered about O'Carroll coming back???? Weve got Fielden, Prescott, Coley and id even play Mossop prop before picking O'Carroll, heart of a lion but simply not big enough, takes nothing out of the opposition pack at all, can you imagine him playing against Morley last week? Talk about a boy against a man.....

| First time O'Carroll came up against Morley, we all know there was only 1 winner there.

| looks a strong team, although probably a lot of chopping and changing for one sub with regards riddell, looks like it may see tuson on in 13, lockers to 7 and tommy to 9 imo is how we'll more than likely run

| That is a very strong looking team. It is just a pity that Mossop is injured but I suppose it gives Feka a chance to show what he can do.

Because you know what you are going to get with Eamon, he would run through a brick wall and would continue running through a brick wall all day for us. That heart of a lion is what makes him the player he is and he is exactly what we needed last week. And as someone has already pointed out, we all saw how Eamon stood up against morley in morleys first game for wire! Give me Eamon O'Carroll, a genuine workhorse, over Paul Prescott any day of the week. Although saying that Prekky has definately improved over the last 2 months.

It was pointed out to me half way through last season to watch O Carroll, and 95% of the time it takes ONE defender to put him down, correct, he will run all day and has a big heart, but his size lets him down, he takes absoulutely nothing out of the opposition, one tackle on morley doesnt make him a superstar. Prescott IMO is a far better prop forward, 2-3 men to put him down every time, leaving holes in the defence and tiring the other forwards.

Also, I believe we have the best coach in SL in madge, when O Carroll is fit, lets see who he picks. Im willing to bet you any amount of money, especially when Lima comes next year, O Carroll gets nowere near our starting 17. Fielden, Coley (if he does another year) Prescott, Lima and Hock will also be used as a prop, all superior to O Carroll.
