I heard that Goulding hurt his shoulder against Salford, the one he dislocated last year, and may not be fit for Friday.

I thought i saw that on the highlights of the Salford video, he looks in loads of pain after his last 2 trys. If he's not fit my team would be:

Nothing stopping Deacon playing at 9

Deacon played pretty well at 9 in the earlier game this season after watching it this morning.

Im glad Sam is back at 6 and good to see Lockers back in the starting 13 along with Mossy.

I saw Goulding in the players bar after the game, he was holding his shoulder, when I asked him what it was he said he thought he might have dislocated it, but wasn't sure he would get straight into wigan on sat morning to find out what he'd done. He looked really uncomfortable with it though.

If Goulding is out as well as Coley and McIllorum Wire must be favourites. Coley and McIllorum have been very important players for us this season and while we can get away without them against sides like Salford that is not the case v Wire.

Goulding is also better than Pryce IMO who I think might have a torrid time of it v Wire if he has to play.

Fielden will have to play big minutes with that side, which isn't a bad thing at all given the way he's been playing.

When the going gets tough, Pryce goes missing. The second half against Saints and the whole match at Leeds showed that. I really hope he doesn't play.

Scott Donald at Leeds never went near him. He got injured v Saints when he jumped over Sam Tomkins and all his weight came down on his ankle.

How many tries have been scored against him in his matches for Wigan this season?

to be fair Pryce did something similar in the U20's on Saturday, came in, stopped, tackled no one and Salford scored.
But he knew he'd done wrong and put his hand up, I'm not sure Darrel understands.

Yeah i noticed Daz against Salford as well last week, he kept shooting out of the line, seems like he doesnt want to stay in the defensive line and slide across with everyone else. I just feel like Pryce doesn't come in looking for work in the tough games and is very hesitant when teams kick towards him (he was very lucky with the one he let bounce early on at Leeds).
It's just personal opinion with me, not necessarily the right one and not scapegoat syndrome. I just dont think Pryce will ever "make it" at Wigan and i never have done.

Important time for Wigan will be when Morley and Carvell goes off and they have Cooper and others on.

Because they are a better side than any Pryce has had to face up to now in his six games this season and post a big threat out wide? And because Pryce is THE most overrated player in the entire Wigan squad of course.

Let's just ask again, how many tries have Wigan conceded on his wing when Pryce has played?

I'm not saying Pryce is the best winger at Wigan, but I don't think he's as bad as you make him out to be.
