The problem lies when SOME saints fans cheer when Fozzard makes a big run using the same tactics. Some Saints fans then can't scream blue murder when it happens against thier team.

It is a shame that Roby is injured, HOWEVER there have been dozens of "Roby style incidents" over the last decade that (on & off) Fozzard has been playing for Stains.
I remember Fozzard's excessive strapping used to batter his opponents on a regular basis to the point where some have to leave the field....Much to the delight of Stains fans.
Yes it is unfortunate for Roby had to leave the field (although not actually heard there is any serious damage been caused yet), but as the Stains club has not taken any action against their own player Fozzard (by making him change his attacking style) then by that fact it's "If you live by the sword, you die by the sword" / the payback I was referring to with Roby being unfortunate victim this time.

Having just read through some posts on the Hull board to see if there was any substance to any illegality to the charge by O'Meley I can see that you really are getting your knickers in a twist over this, would the 'painters' be in this weekend by any chance? (And from someone who didn't even go to the game either). On the Hull board they are saying Fozzard led with his arm all night (and got away with it, yet again). yes fozzard did and if it wasnt his arm it was his knee, omealy is not dirty and hasnt shown any foul play in any performances, this was unfortunate incident, fozzard on the other hand, has been told time and again bout his technique and nothing has been done.

Why should Fozzard's behaviour be justification for Roby - a totally different player who is totally clean and has far, far more talent than Fozzard could even dream of - being knocked out (assuming O'Meley lead with the elbow)? Turry deserves everything he gets and you can quote me on that. He 'was' a dirty sly cheapshot merchant (you can add in drugs cheat now). Fozzard has been know to lead with the elbow and I have not and would not defend that - if he does it he should be punished just as O'Meley should be - if it was Fozz caught with an elbow from anyone then as has been quoted live by the sword die by the sword but it was Roby who is far from being a dirty player.
