I like the bottom right.

The top two are good but the ''WIGAN RLFC'' and style of red rose are too similar to my 'WIGAN RLFC - ANCEIENT AND LOYAL flag'' IMO.

I do think they should be red/white/red though

Farrell flag was ordered Monday/Tuesday 1st/2nd March and the arrival time is usually around 2 weeks.
This means it will be touch and go for it arriving for the Hull game but it should be deffo here for Cas Away (If we take them) & Leeds at home.

We are pleased to announce that due to the incredible generosity of our fans we actually raised enough money to pay for the 2nd flag as well!




This was ordered by Jimmy Birts on Tuesday 9th March and again that should be here for the Leeds game at Home!!!!!!
I am not sure which of the options we fianlly went for but I am sure you'll agree that you can't please all the people all the time

and whatever flag has been ordered will be a fantastic addition to the collection.
May I take this opportunity to thank everyone for their kind contributions and at H/T on Friday alone I was approached and given £40 in donations from random people in the crowd towards the Fund!



We have also been informed by the Riverside supporters that the flag they ordered has arrived & this will be going up on Friday at the Hull game!


They also intimated that they will be doing another one soon!

This means there will deffo be 14 up for the Hull game on Friday but possibly 17 (inc 8inarow's effort if it gets off that "Slowbaot to China!"

) for the Leeds at home game which should almost fill the Gantry.

Plus I believe the Spirit of Central Park flag on view on the website will also go into production soon as a supporter from France has pledged the full amount to make that one in memory of his Late father.

Loving it! Simply awesome! They looked great at Bradford.

Shame about the missing riversiders flag, it's a real cracker.

Asking me or Roy to take pictures using a phone & then post them on here! More chance of finding a Google image of the Last Wire League Winning team!



And if you can't see em from the South Stand, trade your £26 kids season ticket in and get one in the East or West!

i spoke to 8inarow before and he said paypal messed up the payment, its sorted now and the flag will be here next week!

Two flags currently on order are:

The Farrell flag (12 x 6) as shown on this thread and;

WIGAN RLFC (red rose in the middle) HISTORY TRADITION CLASS in red/white/red as preferred by the majority who donated. This flag is also 12 x 6ft

They both should be up at the Leeds game.

In addition, the Central Park Spirit Keeps on Burning flag should be ordered this week.

Nice way to honour your last trophy win as well.





What other flags do you have now? Don't remember many being there last season, great thing to do.

In today's WEP it states that the club are planning on flying the English Flag on St George's Day when we take on Quins on April 23rd. Simon Collinson is approaching local businesses for funding. Whether that means 1 big flag or thousands of hand held ones dunno yet. Great idea.
