I'll get a few raised eyebrows for including Cassidy over Betts/Furner but I really liked him for his defensive workrate, if I was playing for Wigan I'd want Cassidy next to me. Plus I only started watching in '01 so I probably missed Betts' best years (which I gather were in the 90's)

Mike Greg/Stuart Raper.

Raper, he might not have been the best coach of the decade but he won us something.

Only by cheating. Until we cheated by signing Fielden and Dobson he was doing the same as Millward.

Got to be Mike Greg. His short spell was superb, two finals (albeit losses) and some brilliant rugby played.

Raper a close second.

Biggest disappointment was Endacott. Love the guy but he should have won something with the team he had.

To be fair though Bilko, we finished first and lost in the grand final to a truly superb saints performance and a fantastic team in his first season, and again put out of the cup by the same saints side who were then world champions. I'll admit the loses to london and salford were poor, and were ultimately what probably cost him his job.

Big frank wasnt given enough time under the old regime was if you lost 2 games in a row you was off down the road, big frank is a good coach and honest chap and should have been given longer.

I would consider Carmont over Connolly though, both good consistent players.
