I'm excited not nervous. We got further in the PO's than I expected. Anything else is now a bonus, coupled by the fact that I have mixed feelings about making the GF, as I stupidly booked to go to New York a week on Thursday

Taking into account our recent games St Helens and each teams form, I'm going into the game unusually confident.

I can't wait!

Our scouse friends will be nervous.... we will be the underdogs but they are no longer the mighty Saints of 3 years ago... they know we are already benefitting from a golden era of young players (with more to come if the reserves' form this season is anything to go by) and will be desperate to win as this could be the last hurrah for their ageing side... it will be a classic derby fixture... yes, I am excited!

One thing is for sure... if you win the GF you will deserve it!!!

To brush Hull KR to one side was no mean feat. If you now go on to beat Saints in the semi then Leeds (or Catalan) in the final then your win will be fully deserved...

Nervous? abit but unlike most games i have a genuine belief we will win(although that could be the fact i'm thinking 'just my luck' as I'd miss the final due to being on holiday). We're in good form with room for improvment which really fills me with hope. If we can turn up and play well for 80 minutes then I can't see us losing.

On a side note Paul Wellens(Wilkin and Graham) was sat infront of me at the u21 grand final yesterday and was talking to some Saints fans at the side of him. He said with a puff of his cheeks he hopes Saints will be good enough to beat us after being impressed with our preformence at HKR. He didn't look like a guy full of confidence and unlike the cock sured Saints of the past few years there seems to be some doubts in their minds.

I felt great at work today when I spotted another member of staff walking in wearing full Wigan home kit! I knew he was a Wigan fan but seeing that bouncing down the corridor with the kids was just fantastic. Wigan RL is alive and well in the heart of MK

Not nervous at all, we've nothing to lose, we finished 6th, Saints finished 2nd, they are the ones who should be getting to GF's, we're the average side, but anything can happen on the day if the ball bounces for us.

They moved from where i was sat at Half time(don't think i offended them...lol) so depends really which half.

I was sat on the row at the back of them to their left behind the Saints fans they were chatting to. They seemed good lads to be fair and it was just a shame that Wellens had to sit at the back of a group of young lads swearing their heads off as he had his little un with him(he should have to wait at least 18 years before he hears that abuse from Wiganers).

I meant more in general then Wellens being cocky tbh.

He's an honest lad who gives his all for his hometown team and I think the vast majority of Wigan fans and rugby league fans in general really respect him.

As i've said in my previous post he seemed a really nice bloke and looked to really enjoy chatting with the Saints fans sat near him. I thought that was nice because some players wouldn't give fans the time of day.

He'd be Saints version of Radlinski if only he could play like him
