a poem by Wire_Yed
did you not know that wire were scum ?
we came to your ground and we beat the drum.
losing at half time we should have been glum
at the final whistle we should have been numb.
you outplayed us, never gave us a crumb.
played well for 20 and then succumb
we got in the cars and went back to our slum
in the land were we are collectively known as scum.
but i'll crack out the champagne and bring out the rum
cos on the 29th i'll have the fun
you'll be at home sat on your bum.

On the thread after the semi your words where "i haven't met a decent Wire fan" another regular visitor on the Wire board also said "Wire fans are scum every one of them"...Well i have a problem with these statements and i'm sure its comments like this the original poster is refering to...
I never have and never will be involved in trouble at a R.L. game and if i knew anyone that was i would shop them without hesitation...
The group of fans i attend matches with involves a couple of young kids (my friends son's) so there is no way i'd want them to be put off attending matches..
I also find it a bit rich coming from a Wigan fan to have a pop at other fans behaviour when during the dark days of hooliganism at matches Wigan were easily one of the worst...
But i don't suppose you'd remember that Odem..?.. |
