That says something about your fans then, you will come out for a final but not for a semi.

Still cant understand only 2.5k S/T holders out of 10 k gettin em so far tho. unless the small ground and the perceived difficulty in getting tickets has put people off? In reality this is our biggest game for 2 years, a derby semi final....we should be capable of selling widnes out ourselves. A game like this should be held at a 30k venue and wigan should take no less than 15k and would have done 10 years ago.

It seems the shortsightedness and apathy of the RFL is rubbing off on the fans when it comes to the challenge cup!

Of course you would take more to a final but your saying how you will take 30-40k to Wembley but you still have half of your semi tickets left, like someone said above me you have a load of glory boys.

Like to think Wire would do the same or bring your semi stub with you and you get a ticket, it would make sure most loyal fans get one.

So a season ticket holder who goes to all the home league games but can't make the semi for genuine reasons loses out to some glory hunter whose 1st game this season is the semi when there is a sniff of possible success?

Hang on, selling time has not finished yet. Every team has glory supporters. Our average crowds are alot higher than yours so if you take tens of thousands to wembely should you get there, your fans will be the same. How is this some sort of thing which is just Wigan. Saints are the best example, the best team year on year and still only get an average of around 10,000, yet when there is a final there is over 30,000. Whats your logic, every team does it. Same with Leeds, Hudds, Hull, Bradford who have all been to finals in super league era. Why is your comment aimed at Wigan. Warrington would be the same.

Everybody does, but I've not seen no evidence of these 'glory boys' taking into account the home quarter final attendance and the fact the Semi Final is a weeks away.
