He's pretty much been playing for most of the season - if he's not match fit by now he never will be and given he's playing for a contract you'd expect a bit of fire in his belly.
However he's just reverting back to type and lacks the heart necessary to make it at the top level. The frustrating thing is, nearly everything else is there in terms of his physical attributes. If the lad had a bit of bottle he could do whatever he wanted to do on a rugby pitch.

We really do have the worse fans in rugby league.
We all have opinions on who we think is good/bad/awful, but some of our "fans" seem to get on the back of certain players during a game, when that is precisely the wrong time to do it.
If people really want to know what a bunch of s some Wigan fans are, a certain section of supporters booed Shaun Edwards for a while in the 90s. Muppets.

I recall a game in the late 90s i think it was against Cas at Central Park where Shaun took almighty smack in the face but stayed on the field tried his hardest but was having one of them games to forget and the crowd around me was giving him plenty of stick, obviously forgetting the fine performances he did regularly

Olstrom was at centre and it was Matty Sarsfield who wore 15 for the reserves and Hughes played for the 18's

| Alex you really must get your facts right before posting. The loud common woman and her merry band, as you so put it, was not the person who shouted that Pryce was lazy, that came from a woman that was sat on the back row. In fact in all the time I have been attending these matches I have never heard her get on the backs of any of the Wigan players, the ref yes and on Saturdays performance it was justified. As for confronting the ref after the game no I didnt agree with that at all. As I have previously posted I dont live in Wigan so I dont have the insider knowledge that Rogues seems to have. Why is Karl Pryce still not fit? We are nearly 5 months into the season how much longer does he need? Is there something that you know and we dont, perhaps you could enlighten us so that we could understand why he looks like he cant be bothered.

| I posted on another thread about Sam Tomkins badgering Phil Vievers after about 10 minutes because Sam wanted to get on the field and play.
When I watch Pryce I get the feeling that he wants to get off the field. At every opportunity he is stretching his hamstrings.
Someone who plays and trains with him said Pryce needs a really good hard pre-season to sort him out.
Jonh is far better qualified to reply to that comment.
As Pryce is not really holding anyone back (maybe Stefan Marsh) I would be inclined to give him another year providing he is not taking up a lot of "cap space"
There is no doubt that some of the things he "can" do could win us games, but he needs to change his attitude.

He can but he just doesn't seem willing too. He reminds me of someone I used to play with at St Pats, has all the size, power, speed, weight and rare talent he need's but he just doesn't use it. Whether thats because he can't be bothered, doesn't have the mental toughness or just doesn't believe in his own ability, I don't know.
He has the potential to be as good as Leon IMO.
