I actually was pleased with the cotribution of Pryce today showed some nice touches of intent and skills, made some errors but the potential is there. He will not be ready for next year apart from a supporting player to the squad which is no issue as Carmont will touch wood still be around, the year after that 2011 I think he may well be ready to make the centre birth his own.

He is never going to be world class, but i personally see enough in him to think he could be part of a SL championship winning backline at some point in the future.

He was given the ball quite a lot. I think he only took it in once or twice! The rest of the time he either knocked on or passed it forwards.

Getting regular games at a good level like he will get at Barrow is better for him then playing in our reserves.

Whilst Noble is here thats what he'll be doing unless we get alot of injuries/suspension in the pack.

How much time does he want? Thats not good enough imo. I know he has been out the game, injured, blah blah but its simple - he ain't good enough and I very much doubt ever will be.

I think it may actually have been 2007 that we signed him, in preperation for the 08 season.

Well i feel with the basic errors in coaching you cannot expect to see any player produce there best ability.

I appreciate we signed him in 2008, a season which he missed completly due to injury, add to this he missed most of 2007. He has played 3 maybe 4 games into his come back to rugby league after 2 years out of the game and any sport. I hardly think i am being patient. I see him taking the next 2 years playing a supporting role coming in when we have an injury but still being a useful adition to the squad with a few games under his belt with a view to promoting him to a first team shirt in 2011 potentially to replace Carmont.

Sensible approach. Pryce however is one of those faces that won't fit, was always a front runner to replace Mathers as the blame guy.

Thought he did well to give that pass th Ainscough who over ran it and went forward though. He can come good can Pryce.

A season in our league will work wonders for him.........look at Hargreaves and Prescott now.......a lot better on loan to the lower leagues than playing in the reserves IMO......will get him up to speed a lot quicker.
