I agree. Bradford are not an exciting prospect, simply because they're Bradford. Like Huddersfield, no one really cares about them, except their own fans of course.

Leeds, yes. They're the best side. Saints for obvious reasons. Wire because they hate us. Bradford? They can bang on all they like about their marketing, and they did have a good few seasons, but they're still viewed as a dour mid-table fat propped side who play in a dour, cold, wet mudbath ex-quarry. And their support is shiite.

Being on Sky will reduce the travelling numbers and the 'walk up', the pubs in and around Wigan/Bradford will be busy especially if the weathers poor.

With a top 2 finish not even thinkable now, and no relegation to keep the excitement near the bottom, id say our average this season will turn out to be very dissapointing.

If being a 'casual fan' means that you have other finacial priorities other than Wigan R.L. such as paying the electricity bills and monthly mortgage payments and have to choose carefully what you spend your money on then i guess i fall into that bracket.

With our disapointing recruitment this season i decided against a season ticket and think i have already made the right choice. I just dont think i will get value for money from going to watch Wigan every week anymore so i will be picking my games carefully and can fully understand other supporters doing the same, especially the ones with other priorities to think about in what is a harsh financial climate.

Picking and choosing my games is the future for me and i feel genuinley said to say this. Nobles recent comments about the reality of the competition have done nothing to change my mind.

tell de wat it felt a lot colder in jjb last week with hardly any ppl sat at the side off us looked like there was only a couple of thousand in , i know the attendance was about 12,500 but feels empty when your sat in a 25,000 seater

yes the 16,000 average was because wigan playes saints twice in one season and had a 24k crowd followed by a 22k one

Didnt we also play Wire first game as well there was over 20,000 on for that also.
