Again, don't you understand that claiming the aforementioned qualified coaches are/were wrong in appointing O'Loughlin implies you are better qualified to make that judgement than they are? Otherwise you would say something along the lines of "I understand that I'm not the best judge on this and that I'm probably wrong but...."

Actually that's horse and you know it, or do you not actually have any friends or interact with anybody on a social level apart from on a message board. To go around saying anything you like and not considering there may be implied meanings shows a real lack of empathy to other human beings.

Coley over Fielden is a bit of a surprise as Stu has captained the team previously and it seemed to improve his game, but we must trust MM knows best.

That's the only one that came as a real surprise.

I believe he's having the brace removed off his knee soon, he has lots of muscle wastage in his leg due to not training and needs to build this up.

Personally i think it points towards Fieldens days at wigan being numbered.

I'll be surprised if this season isn't his last, unless we offer him a 'massively' reduced contract...........................of course he could be outstanding this year and prove us all wrong !!!!!

fwiw i think Fielden has been a pretty decent prop for us for most of his time here but he is just not performing at a level to justify his wages.

Exactly, thats why I mentioned the reduced contract money, IL inherited the problem with Fieldens wages and I'm sure will address it next year.

the team voted on the senior players group i.e the 5 captains so I am not too surprised Coley has been picked and Fielden not. The fans opinion of Coley from reading this site appears to be very different from the teams.

Maybe Fielden didnt want to be part of it and just wanted to concentrate on playing this season.

I am happy with the choices. Its not really for us to say who should and shouldn't have been picked, we havn't been with the team doing pre-season.

the players voted so whether he wanted to be part of it or not would not come into it.
