Those who feel Hock has been hard done-to really need to start providing far more adequate answers if they want to be taken seriously.

If my proffesionalism was brought into question publicly by my employer I would be coming clean with everything I had. That he isnt speaks volumes!

His silence on the matter says more than a few frank dux types on here who pretend to know what happemed but convieniently cant say dont you think!

He has been advised to say nothing by the Players Association. Without going into detail Hock had some personal problems he asked the club for help with and was told by SW to sort it himself as he wasn't interested. That was the beginning of the end for their relationship

No they don't. People on here can believe what they like it's their personal entitlement. People, myself included are refraining from opening speaking about the truth due to the nature of the people involved.
However people can't respect that and push for answers.
No one in here is held accountable to any other posters, if they feel unwilling to accept it then so be it.

Myself and other posters simply offered a suggestion than there maybe another side to the story, as in all truth there is.

I don't think he will be back either. It would be an amazing U turn for the club given IL's statement. I think that would be the case even if the rumours about what really lies behind it turn out to be true.

And I don't want to PM people, it's my decision not to say anything naming names considering who's involved.

And if, as has been suggested by some, the club should have been helping him to sort personal problems with "people you should not annoy", surely that's a matter for the authorities, not his employer.

Maybe he doesn't have a problem with coaches in general, but if he's messed the last two of them around, that rather suggests that his head is currently in the wrong place to be a professional sportsman.

I know that you are skeptical about IL on principle, and seem very far from happy with SW, but surely even you have doubts that Hock - with his frankly terrible record of the last few years - is some kind of innocent party in a Machiavellian scheme.

IL is a chairman who doesn't denounce individuals very often, but that was a startling press release. It read to me like a man at the end of his tether - and why not, after all the help the club has given to Hock.

Even if it's true that Hock is in trouble with the wrong people, it's the kind of bad luck that only seems to happen to people like him. Do we really need that at Wigan, with all the other distractions we have?

I don't want to lose a player like Hock, but weighing his troubles against his abilities, I'm not sure it's the disaster that some seem to feel.
