Hampshire has been quality so far today.

He's a must keep.

He sounds good on the radio, and it sounds like Smith is having a better game too.

I hope you guys don't mind me coming on here, but we'll take Rocky Hampshire off your hands if you don't want him! On a serious note a spine of Tompkins, Hampshire, Smith, Mcilorum and O'Loughlin sounds good to me with Powell and Williams on the bench. That is a line up that any super league side wouldn't turn down, a perfect mix of youth and experience IMO. Anybody that thinks Tompkins will end up anywhere but back with you guys needs their head read (again only my opinion!). Sorry for gatecrashing, but just wanted to put my 2 penneth in! Oh, have you any decent centres you want to offload?? We need one desperate!

Precisely! The announcement has to be made in front of the Warrington fans because, as they keep telling us, Sam is one of theirs!!

Sam's contacts (and contract) with Sky also make this look likely - maybe a link up with New Zealand and Hemmings having one of his chats with Sam before kick off or at half time.

Although he could have obviously earned more in RU, he would have been one of many high profile figures and maybe it is this extra work in the RL media (and salary!) that has helped smooth the transition back to Wigan and Super League. Sam certainly seemed to enjoy the work he did for Sky in 2013 and he has continued with his interviews with Hemmings.

It would be ideally announced lunch time Thursday so would take a bit of media attention from Flower.

Think I heard Hemmings say they're showing an interview with Flower in the pre-match anyway..

Boring but I think Flower would be best left for Wakefield. There's no need to put the focus back on the issue and give the sky lot there topic for the whole evening.

Sky will be desperate for him to play but for me we should hold him back and play him from the bench at Wakey.

It'll all die down pretty quick I reckon due to the type of character Flower is. He's not a renowned hot head like a Hock or Bateman and will keep his cool.
