World class is world class. The pack isn't everything, we just play a style that overuses our weak points (props, driving down the middle).

Agree with both points to an extent.

We do need to strenghen the front row without doubt but to the point of ignoring a weakness at halfback? no imo.

We are weak upfront but if Lenagan decides to go out and get 2 class props and no halfback to guide us around the field we'll not achieve anything imo. We may go slightly better then this year but would just be papering over the cracks when it comes to our lack of an onfield general.

We need 1 class prop and 1 class organising halfback imo aswell as a coach that will back form players.

Its a combination of both backs and forwards that make a team you can't just try and get a huge pack and then win by a few points we need both great backs and forwards, we are just failing at trying to get the balence.

As bad as we are at the minute i think people know the playing staff isn't that far off in terms of quality of actually achieveing something. Maybe thats what makes this seasons form even more frustrating because it blatant it's an attitude problem thats holding us back.

For next season we must see-

A highly respected coach who can motivate a tempremental group of players

A quality halfback with a good kicking game

A quality prop who's a leader that the players will look up to

If we could get those 3 people we'll be a force to be reckoned with.

Do you have any sort of reason to believe we'd be in with a shout of signing LMS or Morley or are they just at the top of your personal wishlist?

I'd also love the pair of them but i reckon theres more chance of me winning the lottery then either of those 2 being here next year!

Perhaps if you win the lottery, you might chip in a little bit of dosh to get them both here, as well as Thurston of course.

Who do we sign?

Props wise, the likes of L. Burgess, N. Cayless and C. Webb are on our hit list, others that have been mentioned are simply paper talk, W. Mason and all them for examples.

6/7, out signings look like number one priority to us, would have be D. Lockyer, yes he’s a 6, the guy could play 6 or 7.
M. Orford comes in at a close 2nd, proven winner, great attitude to the sport, great kicking and passing game, proven the ability of playing under pressure. But I do feel he will stay in NRL. If not one of us (Wigan/Bradford will sign him)
B. Finch, he could bring alot to our squad, but I see him as a trouble making player, walking away from his old club, due to the drink restriction requirements, would he work with us, big risk.

LOL, i am on my own site. I said your to you, you being the person that posted, not your as your club. Not that hard to understand is it?

Top team would be my choice, however one change I would make would be Roberts to FB and Ainscough on the wing.

I was going through that in my head, Phelps going would make us a spare quota spot, we'll have to see how Ainscough develops over the rest of the season.

Gleeson would be a superb support player to Ainscough, but we'd have to get the ball out to him first



Also the team list, I think we may have a new GB centre on the left next year, IF Carmont continues with the leg injuries IMO

Would agree with everything above, not really heard it mentioned on the forum but your right Carmont is certainly slowing down, whether that's down to age or injury I don't know, but a replacement for 2011 will be needed, Pryce perhaps.

Pryce...... Hmmmmmmmmm as the talent to still become a top quality SL player, but his he willing to put the effort in and really up his game and effort??

At the minute, he'd be lucky to get a new contract come the end of the year. I believe there is a very talented centre at Castleford we could have, if we twisted his nipples with the right amount of £££, I could honestly not name a left centre, who would not want to play at the side of a second rower like Hock! He'd make any left centre look outstanding!

If LMS has any ambition to further his career and play for the biggest name in Rugby League he will sign for us. The pros and cons are massivly in our favour if he weighed them up and Landan isn't that far away if he wanted to nip home often.

Money would talk with Morley, it would be his last deal and if Wire were to free some space under the cap for Myler as suggested we could chance their arm.

Just those two signings would do us with Andrew Johns coming in mentoring Sam Tomkins and Tommy Leuluai.
Johns would come over if the money was right also.

and wire have more, they would be mad to let him go.
