Do you really think that Warrington are paying King 30% of their salary cap and are also able to accommodate Morley, Monaghans x 2, Westwood, Carvell, Atkins, Hodgson, etc?

I don't think anybody IS suggesting that all these players are paid under the cap....

90% of Madge won't guarantee us a win. The players and injuries etc will be a factor, but 90% of Madge is far better than 100% of any other coach in SL. The guy is just on another level.

What I find hilarious is the assertion by certain Wire fans that they're not paying their major stars major salaries.

It's almost like after years spent ragging Wigan for spending a lot of money on big-name stars back in the 1990s, they now can't be seen to be doing it themselves, which they clearly are otherwise those stars wouldn't be there.

There's nothing embarrassing or immoral about paying top players what they're worth. As to whether King is on £250K a year, I don't know - I doubt it, but there must have been some reason why Wigan pulled out of the auction, and Maurice wasn't known for holding back on the big spending.

maguire will have given a list of names he would like to sign to the club.... this list will be prioritised by him and the club.. the club will then go out and try to sign them.

some players signatures will be announced before maguire leaves wigan, like the king signing...... but some wont.. for obvious reasons.
