I reckon they will be gone on Friday.
Approx 500 left in the South, these will go no danger.

I'm amazed Saints have only sold that amount so far. Even with us being favourites for the game, I still think Saints will end up with a pretty healthy following in that stand.

How is the Magic weekend treated in the attendances?

| 3729 left by the looks of things on e ticketing. That means 16271 tickets sold to wigan fans, say saints have sold 2100, which is shocking for a derby! we're currently on for an 18371 attendance, i reckon wigan can shift another 2000 this week and saints possibly another 1 k so we will be looking at about 22k on sunday I think with only tickets in the saints end remaining.
I wonder if wigan are heading for a sell out, they may ring saints and ask for a thousand tickets back! That would be interesting half and half in the north stand.

| At the last count 14969 tickets had been sold to Wigan fans from a total of 18646.
The club are looking at a crowd of 18k-19k on the night.

Thats pretty damn pathetic. Everyone expected a sell-out at the start of the season and a few weeks ago.

We've already slated you as it's been two seasons since you brought a seriously decent crowd to Knowsley Road. Wire beat you by thousands this season. Literally! So maybe you'll get a taste of your own medicine if we don't turn up in our usual force this time out. But knowing Saints fans, being gluttens for punishment an' all, we'll likely turn up in big numbers on the day.
I've already bought my ticket although I'm not anticipating a Saints win as we have just too many key players missing.

The Good Friday game this year was a sell-out so unless "literally thousands" of Wire fans made it into the Popular Stand I think you're mistaken. I was there Good Friday and you couldn't move in the Wigan end

| We were allocated much less than what Wire fans were on Good Friday.
We sold the amount allocated to us days before the game.
Not much we can do in addition to that (other than go to KR and buy from their allocation), which quite a few on here did.

But [iwe[/i had no problem moving in the Wigan end, unlike when Wire came. The away end was closed to Saints fans because it became too dangerous for us to walk through, as we usually do, due to the numbers of Wire fans. I have a photo of the away end that day because in my time of going to Knowsley Road I simply have never seen it so full. On Good Friday we sold out because Saints fans turned up in goodly numbers. However, I am quite sure there are enough Saints fans on the terraces who remember the bridesmaid days to mean that maybe we won't turn out quite so well this time since most of us will anticipate a defeat, given our injuries and inconsistent form over this season and last.
PS: I was there on Good Friday too. But not in the away end!

| No way anyone can criticise St Helens for their away support in this fixture even if they don't fill the North Stand this time around. Over the years at the JJB/DW, they've consistently brought massive numbers.

Comparing the Wigan away crowd on Good Friday to the Warrington away crowd is as irrelevant as it is stupid - it was a sell out so Wigan could not have sold more tickets if they wanted to. Taking nothing away from Warrington, as I was at that game as well and it was impressive - but they had the ability to bring a bigger away crowd, because less Saints fans turned up to that game.

| You couldn't move at the back of the Wigan stand on Good Friday because I tried my best to get in from the rain and couldn't. The police couldn't get in either when someone set a flare off!

Wire beat us by around 1,000 because they were allocated 1,000 more tickets. I was in the wire end for that game and it wasn't as dense as for the Wigan game so it's tricky to tell the actual numbers.
To say we have not brought good followings is just silly. We always bring a decent amount. Don't forget your facilities are some of the worst in super league and many people will not attend because of this. A regular 3k is always there.
